Am I safe  at home  in my own bed?   
Am I trapped  in the dark?   
Why did I wake like this  cold  scared  alone  frightened?   
What was I dreaming  in the dark night  my eyes closed to the world?   
Who was in my dreams  why am I shaking  why am I sweating  what's going on here?

Your arms wrap  around my waist  lifting me slightly   
My arms wrap  around your neck  holding you tight  not wanting to let go
